Margaritaville's First Fine Dining is as Fun as Ever

Step into a world where blues as deep as the ocean cover the walls and grouper, caught just hours before, sits on your dinner plate. If this sounds like seafood heaven, then you’ve come to the right stop at Hollywood’s Margaritaville. Fresh might as well be included in the name JWB Prime Steak and Seafood, where not only is the seafood worth raving about, but so are the steaks.

This restaurant, named after James William (Jimmy) Buffett himself, has become a new favorite among travelers and locals alike. Concept chef Carlo Sernaglia came onboard with one vision in mind: to set JWB apart from other Floridian restaurants by offering the finest-quality products around.

Top Step Cycling In Pembroke Pines Takes Spinning To A Whole New Level

Featuring real-time footage and a pro-level workout, this cycling class is worth a try.

Growing up, my friend Staci and I used to ride our bikes all around our neighborhood. We descended down a steep hill and casually roamed into our neighbors’ driveways. My bike was pink and blue, and I called her Pixie. That was the closest I ever came to experiencing some downhill adventure on a bike. Fast forward some 15 years, and I found myself agreeing to take on a new cycling adventure—this time with a twist at Top Step Cycling in Hollywood.

The door to the studio read “The Sufferfest,” a program David McQuillen founded in 2009 that uses effective training videos for cyclists.

Traditional spin bikes lined two outer sides of the room,

Nisi Restaurant Takes Over Former Thasos Greek Taverna Spot, Serving Modern Greek Flavors In Updated Space

One local Greek restaurant has transformed into another.

Nisi, a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant serving Greek and global cuisine, has opened up in the former Thasos Greek Taverna spot on Oakland Park Boulevard.

Before moving on to open Nisi in late August, chef/owner Joshua Wahler and hospitality pro Andy Tsavos together led the front and back of house at Estiatorio Milos in South Beach.

The duo, who also co-operate children's health food delivery service Born Foody, came upon the opportunity to take over the former Thasos space and saw the building had a lot of potential.

spinning house 1

Would you live in a glass box that moves like a living thing in response to stimuli? This tiny house balanced atop a concrete pillar reacts to its inhabitants’ movements in surprising ways, highlighting the relationship between people and their homes.

It’s not enough that this modernist residence plunked down in a field in the middle of the Hudson Valley is completely transparent, putting its inhabitants on display: it’s also kinetic, acting like a living creature, spinning and tilting in perpetual motion. ReActor by Alex Schweder and Ward Shelley is far more than just shelter, it’s a performance piece, an experimental work of ‘social relationship architecture’ acting as a continuation of the architect-artist duo’s previous kinetic works.
