Who Wants to swim in the sky?

swimming pool hotel 4

There’s nothing quite as relaxing as a swimming pool with a view, but cantilever a pool over a stunning landscape and add a glass panel in the floor, and you’re really taking it to a whole new level. Elevated swimming pools with infinity edges provide a whole new perspective of your environment, especially when they’re heated and you’re gazing at snow-capped mountains in the distance. One hotel in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, Austria, offers a dramatic cantilevered pool as one of six heated places to swim.

Sixty-five feet off the ground and 82 feet long, the latest addition to the newly-renovated Hubertus Hotel beckons guests into its warm water with the steam that rises from its surface, a

Whether you’re heading home or on some “fancy trip”, there are some things to consider before stumbling out the door to catch your flight/bus/cab praying that you remembered to pack your contact lenses & phone charger.

I recommend checking this list out the night before you leave. Or the night before the night before, assuming you’re diving head first into a bottle come Friday at 5pm. Merry Christmas, everybody!

The Most Outrageous Superyachts You'll See At The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Since superyachts (and their owners) are migratory creatures that usually follow the sun to exclusive destinations around the world, there’s a certain pattern to their “behavior.” It’s pretty simple in fact. During the cold and dark of winter in Europe and North America, many of the world’s largest and most outrageous superyachts can be found bopping between exclusive islands in the Caribbean and the South Pacific. And when school is out during the summer up north, the Mediterranean is the place to see and be seen getting out of your helicopter on the deck of your newly commissioned megayacht.
